Collectors and enthusiasts would agree that any Bugatti Veyron is a special car, but this particular one, the 50th of 58 Grand Sports produced, stands out as a bespoke one-off special-edition variant created to celebrate the Year of the Dragon.
First unveiled to the public at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show, the Veyron Grand Sport ‘Wei Long’ was co-developed with the renowned Königliche Porzellan Manufaktur Berlin. The car features intricate porcelain dragon reliefs on both its body and interior, paying homage to Chinese cultural heritage. With dragon sculptures on the oil and fuel caps, a striking Porcelain White exterior is paired beautifully with a carmine red interior. Details include embroidered "Dragon" characters on the headrests, silk floor mats, and a captivating porcelain centerpiece with a meticulously crafted dragon relief.
Although first presented in Beijing, the car was built to EU specifications and delivered to its first owner in Switzerland. It was later imported to the UK and subsequently, in 2016, to Monaco, where it remained under the same owner, who regularly serviced it at Bugatti London until early 2024, when Solberget acquired the car.
To conclude we present a chance to purchase a truly unique example of what may come to represent the most important car of the 21st century—Ferdinand Piëch Magnum Opus. Documentation, pictures, and videos are available upon request. Please do not hesitate to get in touch.
